Apply for a skip bin permit

You need a permit to place a bulk rubbish container or skip bin on a road or Council land, and provide safe pedestrian access around the bin area at all times.

Residential properties with established buildings

$63.00 for up to 7 days. (The cost for extra days will be calculated according to details in your application). 

Building sites

$140.00 for 3 months

The application fee is not refundable if your application is not approved.

 

You need to submit the following documents with your permit application:

  • A location sketch and/or photo, showing where the skip/bin will be located
  • A Certificate of Currency of Public Liability Insurance (minimum coverage: $20 million)
