Register a health or beauty business

Do I need to register?

If you want to set up a health or beauty business in Cardinia Shire, you need to register the business with us in accordance with the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008.

Businesses which must be registered include: 

  • hairdresser
  • beauty therapy 
  • tattooing 
  • skin penetration
  • colonic irrigation.
