Types of engineering plans

The plans you need to submit will depend on the development and subdivision type.

Subdivision Development Engineering Plans - typically for greenfield developments and developments creating Council assets and includes:

  • Stormwater Management Strategy
  • Public lighting plans
  • Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP)
  • Functional Layout Plans (FLP)
  • Detailed Construction Plans
  • As constructed plans
  • Schedule of works and costs

Stormwater Management Plans - typically developments that include lots with a common property driveway, Childcare or Medical Centres, Multi Lot Unit Developments, Industrial/Commercial Developments. This category includes plans required under planning permits issued for Subdivision only, i.e. driveway access and drainage connection:

  • Stormwater Management Plans
  • Driveway Access and Drainage Plans as requested under a Subdivision only Planning Permit
  • Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMP)
  • Any other documentation, as required by your Planning Permit

Landscape Plans - typically Streetscapes, Open Space, Water Ways, Wetlands, Gas Easements

  • Detailed Landscape Plans
  • As Constructed
  • Arborist Reports, Specifications, Cost Schedules, Checklists and other corresponding documents
