Apply to display temporary community advertising signs

  • You need a permit to put up temporary community advertising signs on land in Cardinia Shire that is owned or managed by Council.
  • Signs can only be placed in pre-approved locations in accordance with our Temporary Community Advertising Signage Policy. This helps reduce the risk of signs distracting motorists, and to ensure that our surroundings look attractive and not too cluttered.
  • When you apply, you'll need to acknowledge that you have read the Temporary Community Advertising Signage Policy. You can view the policy here.
  • You can apply for a permit to display temporary community advertising signs at a number of pre-approved sites in Cardinia Shire.
