Register an accommodation business
About this registration
If you want to set up an accommodation business in Cardinia Shire, you are required to register the business with us in accordance with the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008.
Businesses that must be registered include:
- hotel/motel
- bed and breakfast
- residential accommodation
- caravan park
- hostel
- rooming house
- student dormitory
- holiday camp
If your business will also be serving food and/or drinks to the public, you will also need to register a food business.
Fees
- The registration period is from initial registration to 31 December of that year.
- The registration fee amount depends on the time of year you register your business.
- Annual renewal fees apply for all registrations.
- All fee amounts are for the 2025-26 Financial Year are listed on the application form
