  • You can drop off ‘end of life’ textiles to be recycled at our upcoming Textiles Drop-off event
  • You can also dispose of chemicals and other hazardous liquids through the Detox Your Home collections offered by the Victorian Government. You can also drop off eligible empty agvet chemical containers at drumMUSTER events
  • Check if you need to book or register for specific drop-off events.

Drop off your ‘end of life’ textiles including clothing, bed linen, tablecloths and scrap fabric for free!

In partnership with SCRgroup, textiles from the day will be reused, repurposed or recycled, saving several tonnes of clothing from landfill.

While good quality textiles and clothing can be donated or gifted, ‘end of life’ textiles are unsuitable for donation because of rips, holes or minor stains. By taking 'end of life’ textiles to dedicated drop-off points such as this event, items can be reused or recycled, instead of going to waste.

This event accepts end of life textiles with minor stains. However, all items must still be clean and dry to ensure the health and safety of those sorting these items.

Cardinia Shire residents only. Textiles will only be accepted from residential vehicles and trailers; commercial business operators cannot use this service.
