Waste reduction workshops

  • Learn how to reduce your waste, save money and help our environment at these free workshops.
  • The workshops are presented in partnership with Casey Cardinia Libraries and Koo Wee Rup Eco House. Light refreshments provided.
  • Cardinia Shire residents can save on new waste reduction systems with our waste reduction rebates.

Discover the benefits of composting, worm farms and digesters and how they can help you reduce your household waste. Learn how to choose the best system for your household and how to get started.

This is an interactive cooking demonstration where you will learn about the impacts of food waste on the environment and gain valuable tips and tricks for effective meal planning and proper food storage.
You will also learn how to make a no waste recipe, using foods that are often thrown away.
