Autumn Teenage School Holiday Program 2026
About the program
- Our Teenage School Holiday Program is open to young people aged 12 to 17 years.
- Activities are held across Cardinia Shire during the school holidays. Most activities are low cost or free.
- If transport is a barrier to your participation, please contact Cardinia Youth Services to discuss.
- Bookings for all activities are essential. Please book using the online form.
My Place Youth Facility is open for reduced hours during school holidays, from 1pm to 5pm.
Week 1 activities
Tuesday 7th April - Garfield Skate Lessons with a Skate Coach & World Cup Champion
Bookings Open: 10th March and Close 31st March 2026
Location: Beswick St Garfield
Cost: Free
Two Sessions Times: Session One: 11:30 - 12:30pm and Session Two: 1:00pm - 2:00pm
What to bring: If you have your own skateboard, and helmet please bring them along. If you don’t have your own, you can borrow one from the Shredability Crew (supply is limited).
What will be provided: Water and snacks will be provided. Bring your own packed lunch, and extra drinks to keep yourself hydrated and energised.
Additional Information: You can book into one or both sessions, please indicate on the booking link which session/s you would like to attend.
You will be contacted if the event is postpone or cancel due to rain.
Important Information:
Please arrive 10 minutes before the lession starts to be signed in.
Spots are limited - lock yours in before they're gone.
Wednesday 8th April - Game on Mini Golf
Location: My Place Youth Centre 5-7 Main Street Pakenham
Time: 1.30 – 3.30pm
Cost: $5.00
What to bring: Comfortable clothing, hat and closed-toe shoes.
What will be provided: Water, snacks and fruit will be provided
Additional Information: An exciting opportunity to play mini golf! We will have a setup on-site at the Youth Hub. For this activity, comfortable clothing and closed‑toe shoes are required.
Thursday 9th April - Easter Bake Lab
Location: My Place Youth Centre, 5-7 Main Street Pakenham
Time: 1.30pm – 3.30pm
Cost: $5.00
What to bring: Comfortable clothes, appetite and wiliness to participate
What will be provided: Eat what you make
Additional Information: This activity can get messy so please wear appropriate clothing. Closed toe shoes are required. Long hair to be tied back. Apron and gloves will be provided on the day..
Friday 10th April - Blind Auditions with Karaoke
Location: My Place Youth Centre, 5-7 Main Street Pakenham
Time: 1.30pm – 4pm
Cost: Free
What to bring: Your talent, sense of humour and wiliness to have fun!
What will be provided: Water, snacks and fruit will be provided
Additional Information: This is a chance to hang out, have fun, guess the mystery singers, and pick songs for each other, no artistic talent required!
Week 2 activities
Tuesday 14th April - Brain Busters Trivia
Location: My Place Youth Centre, 5-7 Main Street Pakenham
Time: 1.30pm - 3.30pm
Cost: Free
What will be provided: Water, snacks and fruit will be provided
Additional Information: Surprises and prices are waiting for the winners!
Wednesday 15th April - Emerald Library - VR and Gaming Party
Location: Emerald Library, 400b Belgrave-Gembrook Rd Emerald
Time: 5pm - 7pm
Cost: Free
What to bring: A friendly sense of competition and readiness to have fun in a virtual reality world!
What will be provided: Hot Chips, snacks and water will be provided
Thursday 16th April - Creative Arts & Music
Location: My Place Youth Centre, 5-7 Main Street Pakenham
Time: 1.30 - 3.30pm
Cost: $5.00
What to bring: Wanting to explore your creativity, rhythm and sounds!
What will be provided: Water, snacks and fruit will be provided
Additional Information: Are you keen for a chilled, creative afternoon? Come down, enjoy live music, hang out with friends, and create your own piece of art! This activity can get messy, so please wear old clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Aprons and extra protective clothing will be provided. Closed‑toe shoes must be worn.
Friday 17th April - Movie & Popcorn
Location: My Place Youth Centre, 5-7 Main Street Pakenham
Time: 1.30 - 4pm
Cost: Free
What to bring: Come dressed in your comfiest cozy gear! Wear your warm pyjamas or snuggly Oodie, so you can be super warm and snuggly for movie time
What will be provided: Popcorn, Snacks & Water will be provided
