Ask a question at a Council meeting
- To ask a question at a Council meeting, we need to receive your question by 12 noon on the day of the meeting so a response can be prepared.
- Your question must meet the guidance criteria as per Division 6 – Community Question Time of the Governance Rules.
- In accordance with Clause 3.52.2 of the Governance Rules, the question should not contain any commentary on the matter or any preamble to the question.
- Your question will be asked and answered during the Council Meeting community question time and recorded in the Council Meeting minutes.
- Any preamble or commentary included will not be read at the meeting or recorded in the minutes.
- The person who submitted the question must be in the gallery for it to be read out and answered. If not, the question will be recorded in the minutes of the Council Meeting, together with a copy of the written response.
- Following the meeting, you will receive an email with a link to the minutes.
- Note: The forms below cannot be used to make a service request to Council. To do this go to the Report an issue web page.

At the Statutory Council Meeting 24 November 2025 Council disbanded Town Planning Committee and revoked the Instrument of Delegation to take effect from 31 December 2025.
