Rooms and spaces for hire - Hills Hub at Emerald

  2. Submit a Hills Hub room hire enquiry form
  3. We will check availability and be in touch with you as soon as we can. Please note the booking process takes at least 15 business days to complete.

* Other fees and charges may apply for bonds, insurance and use of equipment. 

  1. Once we have confirmed that the room/s are available, we will email you the Hills Hub room hire application form, along with a booking reference number. To be complete within 5 business days of it being emailed to you
  2. Once received the application and relevant documentation will be reviewed interanally prior to final booking confirmation 
  3. Booking confirmed and relevant booking information for the facility will be emailed to the applicant along with the invoice due for payment prior to the booking. 

What you need to provide with your application

  • Photo ID
  • Copy of Certificate of Currency (Public Liability Insurance 20million)
  • COVIDSafe Plan

If children are attending

  • Copy of Working with Children Check card if children are attending event/activity
  • Copy of Working with Children Check cards for any third parties in charge of children
  • Your organisation’s Child Safety Policy

If applicable

  • Copy of Certificate of Currency for any third parties engaged (e.g. DJ, caterer)
  • Evidence of any special conditions requested as part of the hire approval
  • Community Insurance application*

* Individuals and non-incorporated community groups who do not hold public liability insurance may qualify for temporary event/function insurance for once off, low-risk events/functions under Cardinia Shire Council.
