- This inspection is required as part of the planning permit process.
Important information
There are two types of inspections involving drainage and access that may be required under a Planning Permit. These inspections can be booked online using this form:-
- Approved Stormwater Management Plan final inspection
- Drainage and Access Planning Permit condition - inspection for Statement of Compliance
If your Approved Planning Permit was for Subdivision only and you require a Drainage and Access inspection, you will be required to pay the inspection fee upon submission of this booking request.

Please allow 5 business days from lodgement of request for the inspection to occur.
What you will need to include for this submission
- Planning Permit Number i.e. T12345 (5 numbers)
- Planning Permit Condition Number
- Property Address
- Name and mobile number of the contact person for this site
- Copy of stamped approved Drainage/Stormwater Management Plans (if applicable).
Checklist for works to be completed prior to inspection
- All pits and pipes flushed clean and pit floors invert shaped to prevent water ponding
- All pipe ends cut flush to pit walls and rendered around
- All areas of road reserve reinstated
- Signage and line marking installed in accordance with approved plans, i.e. disabled parking, private street signs, traffic calming devices in place if a condition of the permit
- Detention system, rainwater tanks or any on-site water quality treatment systems as per approved plan, i.e. –
- rainwater tank overflow connected to stormwater system
- retention orifice connected to stormwater
- All surfaces to be to “finished surface level” as per approved plan.
