Release tension and connect with your expressive body in this 20 minute dance class with local dancer and choreographer Gulsen Ozer. 

Find strength and spaciousness in your body as Gulsen takes you through a couple of short exercises that take inspiration from flowing silk thread and tall trees. 

This class is gentile and relaxing. It is designed to be accessible to people without any prior dance class experience and is suitable for seated dancing and seniors as well as younger people. 

This workshop is part of Cardinia Shire Council's #AliveWithCreativity digital arts and culture program.

This activity will be delivered in a three part series workshops for beginners so no need of any drumming experience to join in.

This third and last part of the workshop series will be playing along  to Samba Reggae sounds.  

Don’t worry if you don’t have a drum at home, a bucket, a table top or any flat surface will work.

In this second workshop, you will be working on a rhythm called Samba Reggae, originally derived as a blend of Brazilian samba and Jamaican reggae.

In this one-hour workshop, Jenni will show you how to create beautiful tea stained paper using small flat leaves, tea and food colouring.
