Youth Skate Event
Date: Saturday 14 March 2026

Location: Pakenham Show

Roll into the action with a highenergy skate session as part of the Pakenham Show festivities.

Scenic bird watching walk
Date: Saturday 21 March 2026
Time: 9:30am - 11am
Location: Cardinia Aqueduct Trail - 264 Thewlis Rd, Pakenham VIC 3810
Discover and celebrate local birdlife, as we take a walk together through the scenic Cardinia Aqueduct Trail in Pakenham.
We'll explore the stunning landscapes and the surrounding bushland, home to remarkable species. The event will be led by renowned nature educator and bird enthusiast, Kirsty Costa from Weekend Birder.
This event is suitable for all ages and birdwatching abilities. We'll practice bird identification and using the Aussie Bird Count app, while providing accessible pathways for prams and wheelchairs.
Gardens for Wildlife

Learn how to create wildlifefriendly gardens that support local biodiversity. You must sign up to the program to attend this event.

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the lake with a live performance from local emerging artist Jay Santilli.

Skateboard Lessons – Garfield Skate Park
Date: Tuesday 7 April 2026
Time: 11:30am – 2pm
Location: Garfield Skate Park
Want to learn how to ride a skateboard? These school holidays are your time to learn. With qualified instructor Renton Millar, our lessons are open to all skill levels.
These beginner lessons are designed for young people aged 12 to 17, and boards and helmets can be borrowed if you don’t have your own (limited supply). Please arrive 10 minutes early. If it rains, the session may be postponed. All coaches are trained by the Australian Skateboarding Federation.
Coffee with Community – Cochrane Park, Koo Wee Rup
