Have your say on Cardinia Shire’s Liveability Plan review

Published: 5 October 2021

It’s been four years since we launched the Cardinia Liveability Plan 2017 - 2029.

In line with the requirements of the Victorian Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008, it’s time for us to conduct our first four-year evaluation to ensure that the goals and objectives are still reflective of Cardinia’s needs.

The Liveability Plan 2017 - 2029 is Cardinia Shire’s long-term strategy to improve health and wellbeing.

Cardinia Shire Council Mayor Councillor Brett Owen encouraged the community to jump online and have their say.

“We are keen to check in with the community and make sure we are on the right track with the needs of our residents,” Cr Owen said.

So many people tell me they love Cardinia Shire’s ‘liveability’ and we want to make sure we keep our people and places happy and healthy.

“This is an important plan for our shire and we encourage everyone to log on and take a look at the proposed Liveability Plan.”

Residents are encouraged to view the latest information about the liveability, health and wellbeing of our community and residents on fact sheets and infographics which are available at Creating Cardinia - www.cardinia.vic.gov.au/haveyoursay

The Liveability Plan review is now open for community consultation and feedback at Creating Cardinia from today until 28 October 2021
