2021-22 Community Capital Works Grants Program recipients announced!

Successful applicants of Council’s 2021-22 Community Capital Works Grants Program have been announced. 

The Community Capital Works Grants Program strengthens Cardinia Shire by assisting community groups to improve community and recreational facilities, which in turn supports community networks and enhances wellbeing.  

Categories and successful recipients include: 

Community Capital Works Grants: Grants available from a set priorities list that will benefit the enhancement of the facility. Council manage project works on community’s behalf. 

  • Bayles Preschool 
  • Bunyip Football Club 
  • Cockatoo Community House 
  • Cora Lynn Recreation Reserve 
  • Koo Wee Rup Community Centre 
  • Pakenham Springs 
  • Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre 
  • Upper Beaconsfield Kinder 

Community Capital Works Partnership Grants: Grants are applicable to a community group’s choice of project that will benefit a Council asset/facility, increase participation, and inclusion. Projects must be community managed with advice and guidance from Council. 

  • Beaconsfield Kindergarten 
  • Beaconsfield Tennis Club 
  • Bunyip Tennis Club 
  • Cardinia Recreation Reserve 
  • Cora Lynn Showjumping Club 
  • Pakenham Lions Netball Club 
  • Tonimbuk Hall Committee of Management 
  • Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre
