McDonalds Track closed
McDonalds Track, Lang Lang will be closed to all traffic for about two weeks, effective immediately.
Poor road conditions and the high use by heavy trucks have forced Council to completely close the road to do emergency and rehabilitation works.
The closure will allow reconstruction works to be completed efficiently and safely. Detours are in place and residents will be given access by traffic control.
Council is currently reconstructing the road between Westernport Road and the former railway line to repair large pot holes and unstable road surface due to high use by heavy vehicles. The project is funded by the Australian Government’s Roads to Recovery Programme.
