Final call to enter the Casey Cardinia Business Awards
Time is running out to enter the 2016 Casey Cardinia Business Awards, with applications for the prestigious awards program closing at 5pm on Friday 13 May 2016.
Cardinia Shire Mayor Cr Jodie Owen encouraged businesses across the region to get their applications in before it was too late.
“The Casey Cardinia Business Awards are a great opportunity to gain recognition for your work and achievements and celebrate your contribution to business in this region with your peers.
“Being involved in the awards program is a wonderful business development opportunity, with the application process providing a chance to review and reflect on your business along with ample opportunities for networking, promotion and feedback,” Cr Owen said.
City of Casey Mayor Cr Sam Aziz added “The awards recognise significant achievements from a range of sectors and industries, with 12 categories encompassing everything from home-based and new businesses to manufacturing and agriculture.
“The judges will also award the coveted 2016 Casey Cardinia Business of the Year from all of the finalists, and the People’s Choice category has returned this year with the community invited to nominate their favourite business for the award.
“The awards are free to enter and with so many benefits from just being involved, I encourage all businesses to submit an application before the closing date,” Cr Aziz concluded.

Finalists for each category will be announced at a cocktail function in July, with winners to be announced at the Gala Awards Dinner in September.
