Cardinia Shire Mayor Councillor Graeme Moore again expresses his heartfelt thoughts to our community.
“My heart goes out to people who have been directly affected by these fires. This is a very challenging time for our community, but they have responded with resounding resilience and the many generous offers of support have been exceptional.
“We praise the efforts of all of the emergency services and volunteers in managing such difficult conditions as well as they have.
“Council will continue to work in partnership with the relevant agencies and provide support as requested.
“Our community is extraordinarily resilient and supportive, and will continue to rally together to help those who have been impacted by this very challenging situation.
“I encourage our community to keep an eye on official Emergency Services websites and stay up-to-date with what is going on around them,” he said.
