2018 Community Satisfaction Survey now surveying Cardinia Shire residents

Published: 12 February 2018

The Victorian Government’s 2018 Community Satisfaction Survey on local government performance commenced on Thursday 1 February 2018 and will continue throughout February and March.

The telephone survey is conducted by JWS Research and National Field Services on behalf of Local Government Victoria in accordance with the guidelines of the Australian Communications and Media Authority.

A randomised cross selection of Cardinia Shire residents will be contacted until the survey receives 400 valid responses. Calls will be made between 8.30am and 8.30pm on weekdays and between 9.00am and 5.30pm on weekends, and the researchers may contact residents on the Do Not Call Register as the calls are for market research purposes only.

The survey helps to see how Cardinia Shire residents think Council has performed across a range of areas over the last 12 months.

The survey usually takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and participation in the survey is voluntary. Personal details and individual responses are confidential and only the overall results are shared with the Cardinia Shire Council.

Residents who receive a call during the survey period are encouraged to take the opportunity to participate as all valid results go toward helping Council better serve the municipality.

This is a legitimate survey carried out to collect research for the Victorian Government and Council. This survey is carried out across Victoria every year, with the majority of all Victorian Councils participating.
