New tennis club to serve Koo Wee Rup community

Published: 11 May 2026

Council, in partnership with Tennis Victoria, is inviting the Koo Wee Rup community to be part of an exciting new chapter in local sport with the establishment of a new tennis club in Koo Wee Rup.

Community members are encouraged to attend an upcoming information session to learn more about the club and how they can get involved, either as inaugural members or by taking on leadership roles within the club’s committee.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday 26 May from 6.30pm at the Koo Wee Rup Tennis Courts, Cochrane Park.

The Koo Wee Rup Tennis Centre consists of four LED-lit hard courts and covered spectator seating, providing a high-quality facility ready to support a vibrant and inclusive tennis community.

The new club presents a valuable opportunity for residents to connect, stay active and contribute to the growth of local sport.

Residents of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to attend and have their say in shaping the future of the club.
