Register now for 2027 kindergarten
Cardinia Shire Council is encouraging families to register for kindergarten by 30 June 2026 to be considered for first-round offers.
Kindergarten plays a key role in children’s development by strengthening their confidence, social and emotional skills, communication, and physical abilities. It lays strong foundations for starting school and encourages curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning.
Registering for community kindergarten in 2027 is free and so is kindergarten!
Council manages registrations for all community kindergartens across the shire, making the process simple and seamless for families.
Eligibility for 2027:
- 3‑year‑old kindergarten: Child must turn three by 30 April 2027
- 4‑year‑old kindergarten (including Pre-Prep): Child must turn four by 30 April 2027
Offers will commence from July 2026 and continue throughout the year.
Families can register for both 3-year-old and 4-year-old kindergarten through Council’s online portal.
