This free service gives residents a convenient and environmentally friendly way to dispose of green waste, in addition to the optional food and garden waste bin.
Residential green waste can be dropped off, including:
- garden clippings
- tree branches and trunks (up to 30 centimetres wide and 1 metre long)
- weeds
- grass clippings
- leaves
- flowers

Cardinia Shire Mayor Councillor Brett Owen is encouraging the community to use this opportunity to dispose of excess garden waste responsibly.
“You can help keep our shire tidy and safe. These drop‑off days are a simple, practical way for residents to clean up their properties and help reduce fire risks, especially during summer.”
Council runs a range of free waste drop-off events throughout the year to help residents manage their waste safely, responsibly, and sustainably.
“We’re proud to offer these free events and additional waste services, and I would encourage residents to use these services.” Mayor Owen said.
