Cardinia Shire residents are being encouraged to take advantage of the Richmond Football Club’s special offer for free general admission tickets to one of three games at the MCG this season.

Tickets are available to people living or working in the Cardinia Shire for any one of the following games:

  • Round 8: Richmond v Fremantle, Sunday 14 May, 1.10pm
  • Round 14: Richmond v Carlton, Sunday 25 June, 3.20pm
  • Round 20: Richmond v Hawthorn, Sunday 6 August, 3.20pm

A limit of four tickets per registration applies and Print at Home tickets will be emailed during the week prior to the game.

Cardinia Shire Mayor Cr Brett Owen said this is a great opportunity to take the family to a game this season.

“The Richmond Football Club’s ticket offer is an affordable way to treat the kids to a day out and enjoy the thrill of Australian sport,” Cr Brett Owen said.

Richmond CEO Brendon Gale encouraged residents to take up the offer.

“We’re delighted to give something back to the people and families of Cardinia Shire, who have welcomed us every time we’ve visited the region,” Mr Gale said.

“In December, we held Christmas in Cardinia at Holm Park Recreation Reserve and recently we visited the region as part of our AFL Australia Post Community Camp.

“This offer is not only open to Richmond fans, but all football fans or anyone who wants to experience the incredible atmosphere at the MCG.”

Tickets for each game must be selected before 5pm on the following dates:

  • Round 8 game – Wednesday 10 May, 5pm
  • Round 14 game – Wednesday 21 June, 5pm
  • Round 20 game – Wednesday 2 August, 5pm
