Council’s FREE green waste drop-off events!
Residents are encouraged to drop off their green waste for free at the upcoming Green-waste drop off events in Pakenham and Lysterfield.
The service helps Cardinia Shire residents to clean up and reduce the fire fuel load on their properties throughout the year.
Council’s green waste drop-off events are accepting residential amounts of green waste including garden prunings, tree branches and trunks (up to 30 centimetres wide and 1 metre long), weeds, grass clippings, leaves, and flowers.
Pakenham – Monday 3 to Saturday 8 June
- Future Recycling Transfer Station (30-32 Exchange Drive, Pakenham)
- Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 4pm
- Saturday: 8am – 2:30pm
Pakenham – Monday 5 to Saturday 10 August
- Future Recycling Transfer Station (30-32 Exchange Drive, Pakenham)
- Monday to Friday: 7:30am - 4pm
- Saturday: 8am – 2:30pm
Lysterfield – Monday 7 to Saturday 13 October
- Cleanaway Resource Recovery Centre (840 Wellington Rd, Lysterfield)
- Monday to Friday: 8am – 3:30pm
- Saturday: 8:30am – 11:30am
Residents must present photo ID as proof of residence within Cardinia Shire to access the free service.
Waste will only be accepted from residential vehicles and trailers; commercial business operators cannot use this service.
