First look at new playgrounds for Beaconsfield and Pakenham

Published: 16 October 2023

Concept designs have today been unveiled for playground upgrades in Beaconsfield and Pakenham, as part of Cardinia Shire Council’s annual playground renewal program.

The Village Green playground at Stirling Circuit, Beaconsfield and the Waterford Rise Park playground in the Pakenham Lakeside area are set to be upgraded in 2024.

In addition to new play equipment, the proposed upgrades include seating and concrete pathways, and the Waterford Rise playground will receive a shelter and new drinking fountain.

The playground upgrade designs are open to the community for feedback until 11:59pm on Sunday 5 November 2023, with a final design to be presented later this year.
