Australia Day 2023 in Cardinia Shire
A number of events are being held across Cardinia Shire for the community to enjoy this Australia Day, Thursday 26 January.
Australia Day Awards 2023
As in recent years, Council will be hosting a special ceremony to announce and celebrate the Cardinia Shire Australia Day Awards 2023 nominees and winners.
The Awards include categories for: Cardinia Shire Citizen, Senior Citizen, Young Citizen and Community Event of the Year.
The Award winners will be announced at the ceremony on the evening before Australia Day and shared publicly via Council’s website (at www.cardinia.vic.gov.au/AustraliaDay) and Council’s social media channels.
Citizenship ceremony
Council is looking forward to welcoming 100 new Australian citizens at a citizenship ceremony to be held from 11am at the Cardinia Cultural Centre (40 Lakeside Boulevard, Pakenham) on Thursday 26 January.
