Join us for the 2021 White Ribbon fundraiser and award ceremony on Thursday 25 November from 9.15am–12.15 pm at the Cardinia Cultural Centre.

Hosted by Cardinia Shire Council in partnership with Aligned Leisure and Outlook Vic, this year’s guest speaker is Phil Cleary, equality advocate, AFL legend and former federal MP, who will talk about the role of community groups and businesses in ending family violence. Phil has been at the forefront of the campaign to end family violence after his sister Vicki was killed by her former partner 34 years ago. The event will also include the announcement of the 2021 Garry McQuillan and Tony Fitzgerald Award recipients. These awards recognise individuals and groups for their continued efforts in raising awareness and preventing men’s violence against women.

  • Entry is by gold coin donation, refreshments provided.
  • Numbers are strictly limited due to COVID-19 restrictions.
  • This event will be run in accordance with Council’s COVIDSafe Plan.
  • This event will also be live-streamed on Cardinia Shire Council's Facebook page
