Description
The Lang Lang Foreshore Reserve Committee of Management is one of about 1,500 Crown land reserves in Victoria (also referred to as Public land reserves) which are managed by voluntary Committees of Management, with support and oversight from the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA). The Reserve covers approximately 45ha, extending from about 1.5km north of Jetty Road and south of the Jam Jerrup township towards Pioneer Bay. The Reserve consists of a narrow coastal strip, made up of cliffs, sand dunes, mudflats, wetlands and intertidal rock platforms, all leading into the waters of Western Port.
