- Position description summary
- We are seeking Dari, Pashto or Farsi speaking Volunteers to provide friendship and companionship to elderly migrants from Afghanistan background who are experiencing loneliness and isolation. Volunteers will visit the elderly migrant once a fortnight, for one hour, to talk and interact, do safe activities together eg have a cuppa together, listen to music, read a book or go for a walk if the client is able.
