How to indentify
Stem leaves are oval shaped and coarsely toothed. Upper leaf darker. Flowering occurs in the summer and autumn. Flower heads are quite large and bright golden in colour, seed is white fluffy cluster.

Hand pull when the ground is soft. Root remnants will re-establish. Remove seed heads. For large areas slashing can reduce the flowering. Chemical spraying.
