Position description summary

Our Conductors are the welcoming face of the railway; checking tickets, assisting in finding a seat on the train, travelling with the passengers to ensure they have a safe and
enjoyable experience. Our more experienced staff reserve carriages for tour groups and collect fares if required.

Organisation description

Puffing Billy Railway is Australia’s favourite steam train and one of the finest preserved steam railways in the world. The train travels from Belgrave to Gembrook, through the beautiful Dandenong Ranges, every day of the year except Christmas Day. Our band of
dedicated Volunteers continues each day to make this happen. Our display will have volunteers on duty to explain how you can benefit from volunteering and become an integral part of the Puffing Billy family.
