- Description
- Erect to spreading shrub with downy to woolly stems and star-shaped hairs, occasionally more hairless.

- 0.6m x 0.3-1m
- Leaves
- Stiff, narrow downy leaves 3-23mm x 0.6-3.6mm, tip pointed, margins rolled under touching the broad central ridge below. Some forms have dark green hairless leaves.
- Flowers
- Usually stalkless flowers to 20mm across on ends of short branchlets. 6-15 stamens in one cluster to the side of the ovary.
- Flower colour
- Pale to bright yellow
- Flower time
- September to December
- Growing conditions
- Moist well drained soil in a range of forest habitats. Light frosts. Full sun to semi shade.
- Commonly used for
- Profusely flowering shrub for gardens and containers. Tip prune to encourage bushiness.
