Leaves
Bluish-green leaves divided into 3 narrow leaflets 5-20mm x 0.5-2mm, margins rolled under.
Flowers
Single large pea flowers to 20mm long, sometimes a few in terminal sprays, held above leaves. Buds and backs of petals dark olive green.

September to February
Growing conditions
Well drained gravelly soils in heathlands and dry forests. Tolerates light frosts. Semi shade.
Commonly used for
An attractive plant for gardens, rockeries and containers. Flowers are well displayed. Plant in groups. Tip prune to encourage bushiness.
