Erect open shrub with hairy branchlets.

Narrow aromatic dull green leaves, hairy below, margins rolled under. Variable in size, from 10-50mm x 1-2.5mm.
Domed flowerheads to 12cm across of small daisy flowers, buds may be pink.

Growing conditions
Heavy to moist well drained soils. A pioneer species in disturbed areas, very common in forests. Partial to dappled shade.
Commonly used for
Pruning essential to maintain a bushy shape. Easily established under eucalypts. Flowers for long periods. Flowers useful in dried arrangements.
