Community invited to give feedback on how Council delivers its news and information

Published: 11 September 2023

Community members are invited to have their say on how Cardinia Shire Council delivers its news and information, to help shape the way this is done into the future.

To provide feedback, participants can either complete the survey in the latest (Spring) edition of Council’s Connect magazine, or online on the Creating Cardinia community engagement platform at www.cardinia.vic.gov.au/haveyoursay. A reply-paid option is provided in Connect so that the survey can be returned by post, free of cost.

The survey seeks feedback on the types of news that community members want to receive from Council, their preferred communication channels, what news and info they would like to see on Council’s social media platforms, and their views on Council’s website.

The survey is open until Friday 27 October 2023, 5pm.

Cardinia Shire Mayor Cr Tammy Radford hopes that plenty of community members take part in the survey.

Council communicates and shares information with the local community using a range of digital and traditional channels. Some of these channels include social media, newspaper articles and advertising, its website (www.cardinia.vic.gov.au), Connect magazine, e-newsletters and direct mail.

By completing the survey you’ll be helping Council to ensure it is delivering Council news and information to you in a way that meets your needs and preferences,” Cr Radford said.

The survey results will be published in a future edition of Connect magazine. Participants who complete the survey online on the Creating Cardinia site can choose to receive an update via email by clicking the ‘Follow’ button on the webpage.
