Bookings for weddings and funerals in outdoor spaces are being accepted provided they meet the current restrictions


Mt Cannibal Fauna and Flora Reserve – open

  • Operating with a one-way only walking track to allow for physical distancing.
  • The public toilets are open.
  • Visitors to the park must follow the instructions on all signs at the reserve.
  • We are working with Victoria Police to monitor use of the park to ensure current restrictions are followed.

Emerald Lake Park – open

Emerald Museum – open each Wednesday from 10am to 3pm and Sunday from 1.30pm to 4pm except public holidays.


Deep Creek Reserve - open

Deep Creek Reserve golf course - open 


All libraries are open.

  • ‘Click and collect’ of binge bags and collection of items on hold available: You can place holds for items via the catalogue or app then once you’ve been notified the hold is available, bring your library card to the library during opening hours to collect.
  • Free home delivery services are available.
  • The mobile library is running its regular route again and is also running every Saturday.
  • Return chutes open 24/7 (but please do not use them if you do not feel well).
  • Online library events are taking place.

Maternal and Child Health (MCH)

Maternal and Child Health (MCH) services - open

  • All MCH consult rooms are open.
  • Phone and video consultations are still available if necessary.
  • To book an appointment or make an enquiry call 5943 4250 between 9am and 4pm weekdays.
  • Face-to-face group sessions have resumed.

  • My Place is open Monday to Friday, 1pm – 5.15pm.

Leisure facilities, stadiums and pools 

Cardinia Life Leisure Centre, Pakenham – open

Sports stadiums – open

  • Stadium competition has returned.
  • Casual basketball shooting can occur at Cardinia Life with no bookings required.

Pakenham Regional Tennis Centre – open

  • Tennis lessons and competitions have returned. 

Outdoor pools – open
Outdoor pools will be open to the public from December through to March on days where the forecast exceeds 26 degrees.

Meetings are broadcastlive-to-air via webcast.

Community bus 

The community bus is not currently available for hire but will likely resume in early 2021.
