Coronavirus (COVID-19) information – reintroduction of Stage 3 restrictions

Published: 9 July 2020

The state government has announced the reinstatement of Stage 3 'Stay at Home' restrictions across metropolitan Melbourne from 11:59pm Wednesday 8 July for six weeks.

This includes all of Cardinia Shire.

As with the previous period of Stage 3 restrictions, there are only four reasons to leave your home if you live in Cardinia Shire Council:

  • Shopping for food and essential items
  • Care and caregiving
  • Daily exercise
  • Work and study — if you can't do it from home.

Additional restrictions have been put in place.
