Ageing Well publication – Edition 6 out now!

Edition 6 of Cardinia Shire’s Ageing Well Newsletter is out now.

Developed by Council with the support of the Cardinia Shire Age Friendly Alliance Group, the newsletter highlights a broad range of services and exciting opportunities to stay healthy and connected in Cardinia Shire. This latest edition also features relevant information on the COVID-19 pandemic, including details about Council’s online health hub, directory of relief service providers, call back service and additional support services.

This edition also includes:

  • COVID-19 information: Frequently asked questions, how to stay active connected to family and friends during COVID-19 and how to stay safe - including advice on how to protect your credit cards and being aware of scammers.
  • World Elder Abuse Awareness Day: Information about elder abuse
  • National Volunteer Week: Meet local volunteers from around the shire and hear about why the love volunteering!

Around 3000 copies of Cardinia Shire’s Ageing Well Newsletter are distributed to more than fifteen locations across the shire, including Casey Cardinia libraries, Cardinia Shire community houses, Cardinia Cultural Centre, Cardinia Life, Council’s Civic Centre in Officer, local supermarkets, post offices and general stores.
