Bookings are now open for the final FREE ‘Composting for beginners’ workshop at Hewitt Eco House in Koo Wee Rup, from 10am–12pm on Sunday 5 May 2019.

The two-hour workshop is ideal for anyone wanting to learn the basics of composting and worm farming, including:

  • the benefits of composting
  • how to choose the best system for your household
  • how to get started
  • how to claim up to $50 for a new system with our waste reduction rebates.

This is a free community event, with a light morning tea and an exciting door prize for attendees.

This final session in Council’s waste workshop series for 2019 is proudly delivered to our community in a partnership between Cardinia Shire Council, Koo Wee Rup Regional Health Service and Hewitt Eco House.

Previously delivered at Pakenham and Emerald earlier in the year, this is the final event in the waste workshop series for 2019. Participants who attended these workshops have said:
