Kindergarten service providers from 2018: resolution of Council meeting on Monday 17 July

Published: 26 July 2017

At the Council meeting on Monday 17 July, a resolution was made about kindergarten service providers in Cardinia Shire from 2018.

The original recommendation of the EOI evaluation panel was to award the kindergarten licences to three providers – bestchance, ECMS and One Tree. As a result of a resolution passed by Council on 17 July, the services at Lakeside, Pakenham Springs and Henry Family Centre have now been renegotiated and the management has been awarded to bestchance.  As a result, bestchance will manage all of the kindergarten services across the shire from 2018 with the exception of the new Gum Scrub Creek Child and Family Centre which will be managed by ECMS.
