Have your say on Play Space Developments
About this consultation
Council is seeking community feedback on the development or redevelopment of five play space across the shire.
We are interested in hearing the community’s thoughts about the types of play equipment families would like to use when visiting each of these play spaces.
Four of the play spaces are classified as neighbourhood level play spaces. Neighbourhood level play spaces are intended to service residents within a 500 meter radius.
The neighbourhood play spaces include:
- Nar Nar Goon Recreation Reserve (redevelopment of existing play space)
- Tantallon Boulevard, Beaconsfield (redevelopment of existing play space)
- Officer Recreation Reserve (new play space to be installed)
- Kennedy Road, Pakenham (new play space to be installed - next to primary school)
Dick Jones Reserve is also being upgraded to a district level play space. District level play spaces contain more play infrastructure and are intended to service residents within a 2 kilometre radius.
