This workshop will demonstrate how the health and wellbeing of club officials, members, players, their families and the wider community can be supported through a whole club approach. This workshop will explore the benefits of the free program. Hear from Cardinia Shire clubs who have successfully engaged in the program and about the initiatives implemented at their club, as well as how your club can be involved. The Healthy Sports Club initiative covers the following areas and there are a number of Cardinia Shire clubs already delivering in these spaces.

Strategic planning is a vital part of your club's success. A strategic plan identifies a path for your club to follow. It sets out what you want to achieve and what steps you need take to get there. Without a strategic plan, your club can suffer from directionless actions and repeated challenges and issues. This workshop will explore the basic steps in developing a strategic plan with and for your club, including setting goals and objectives, adoption, implementation, monitoring and succession planning. Resources and templates will be provided to start your club on its way to developing a positive strategic plan. |
