Beaconsfield Anzac Memorial Service

  • Location: Cenotaph Cnr Woods Street and Old Princes Highway ,Beaconsfield.
  • Time: 1.45–3.30pm
  • Cost: Free

The Anzac Memorial Service involves a march, flag raising and one minute silence. There is also a memorial address.

March from the Beaconsfield Fire Station commences at 1.50pm and Service at Cenotaph commences at 2pm .

The Anzac Memorial Service is organized by Beaconsfield Progress Assoc. Inc.

Music Items include Australian National Anthem and God Save the Queen.

Local Schools, Music Groups and Community Groups participate. The names of servicemen on the Cenotaph are read by a RSL member as well as the names of service men and women from the area from WW1 & WW2.Wreaths are laid.

The Service is a tribute to local service men and women and is an opportunity for the community to pay their respects.
