The community is invited to join a virtual White Ribbon relaunch to help raise awareness for violence prevention programs across Australia.

On Thursday 13 August from 10am–11am, the White Ribbon online relaunch will be hosted by Aligned Leisure in partnership with Cardinia Shire Council and Outlook Vic. The event will feature guest speakers and the announcement of the 2020 Garry McQuillan and Tony Fitzgerald Award recipients. These awards recognise men for their continued efforts in raising awareness and preventing men’s violence against women.

In May 2020, Communicare took over White Ribbon, with the vision of creating a “nation that respects women, in which every woman lives in safety, free from all forms of men’s abuse.”
