| Media release: 19 October 2009 | | Free transport to and from the Cardinia Road Safety Expo and Children’s Day on Saturday 24 October will be available to families in Lang Lang, Koo Wee Rup, Gembrook and Cockatoo.
Buses will drop off residents to Cardinia Cultural Centre at 10am for the opening and depart 2pm at the conclusion of the event.

Mayor Cr Bill Pearson said this is a great opportunity for residents to leave the car at home and catch the bus.
“It will be a fantastic day out for all the family and Council wants to make getting there as easy as possible,” Cr Pearson said.
“I encourage residents to attend as this is a chance to learn more about road safety and healthy lifestyles.”
Parking is available at Lakeside Lutheran School, Toomuc Recreation Reserve and surrounding streets.
There are also limited spots for exhibitors and for people with a disability at the Cardinia Cultural Centre, Lakeside Boulevard, Pakenham.
Families on the day can find out more about Cardinia Shire children’s services, road safety, and emergency services and participate in hourly and major prize draws.
