| All Abilities Sports Carnival Celebrating International Day of People with Disability
Access for all Abilities Cardinia is seeking individuals with a disability, in age groups of 12 to 18, 19 to 50 and 50 years+ to participate in the All Abilities Sports Carnival – a come and try event offering a range of indoor sports including basketball, netball, volleyball and indoor soccer.
When: Tuesday 1 December 2009 10am–12pm
Where: Cardinia Life Recreation Centre Olympic Way Pakenham (Melway ref: 215 J5)

The Access for All Abilities program is funded by Sport and Recreation Victoria to increase opportunities for participation in sport and recreation by people with disabilities.
Access for All Abilities Cardinia promotes, encourages and assists inclusion of people with a disability in sport and recreation activities at clubs and venues in the region. Some examples of very succesful programs are summarised below.

| No Boundaries Cricket The Officer Cricket Club in conjunction with the Cardinia Shire Council and Scope Leisure Action have developed the 'Officer Bullants' No Boundaries Cricket team.
'No Boundaries' cricket is a modified game of cricket that allows all people with a disability to compete in a fair and fun matter. The 'No Boundaries' cricket program is now played in six locations across Gippsland. After extensive promotion and marketing of the game and team in July–August 2004, the Officer Bullants was able to be formed and 11 players attended the first match in October 2004.
