Council has developed and adopted a Draft Advertising Signs Guidelines.
The objectives of the guidelines are to provide greater certainty for approval of signage applications and to control the amount of signage that is being displayed across the Shire, and to ensure that signage is compatible with the existing built form and natural landscape.
The guidelines include information on advertising signage in business and commercial areas, industrial areas, residential areas, for sporting and community groups on Council-owned or managed land, for community events, real estate signage and promotional signage.
