The Heart Foundation Walk at the Cranbourne Botanic Gardens is another health event on offer along with the Emerald Museum visit.
Other activities include library events, touring shows, food, and much more.
Cardinia Shire Mayor Cr Bill Pearson said every activity aims to encourage people over 50 to join in community life and meet old friends and new in fun settings.
“As a Senior citizen myself I cannot speak too highly of the benefits of participating in community activities,” he said.
“The feeling of belonging to the community, the friendships and support that flow are invaluable.
“It’s great to have a zest for life and things to look forward to so I hope all seniors in our Shire take advantage of Seniors Week and have heaps of fun along the way,” said Cr Pearson.
