| Media release: 25 September 2009 | | Cardinia Shire Council is encouraging local artists, performers and those interested in arts and culture to participate in a community survey.
Council would like to improve the delivery and promotion of local arts and cultural activities across the Shire and is seeking information on the best way to communicate to the community about arts and cultural activities.
Cardinia Shire Council’s Cultural Development Officer Rebecca Christensen – Page said whether you create or perform for fun, make a living from your arts practice or just enjoy attending arts and cultural activities we are keen to hear your views.
‘The survey will only take a few minutes to complete and you will also go in a prize draw,” she said.
Complete the online survey by 20 October to go into the draw to win a family pass (four tickets) to Menopause the Musical at the Cardinia Cultural Centre.
The survey is available online through the ‘have your say’ section of Council’s website at www.cardinia.vic.gov.au/haveyoursay

Council recently strengthened its commitment to arts and culture in the community through the adoption of its first Arts and Culture Policy.
One of the key goals of the policy is to raise the profile of Cardinia Shire’s existing and expanding arts and culture sector through advocacy, promotion and improved communication.
