| Media release: 16 September 2009 | | Young people in the Cardinia Shire have a great night out ahead of them with the ‘Live, Loud and Local’ gig at the Bunyip Hall on Friday 25 September.
Cardinia Shire Council’s FReeZA committee Electric Productions will host the event, providing a great night out during the September School Holidays.
Cardinia Shire’s Youth Services Officer Carrolyn Agius said a great line up of music acts have been put together by Electric Productions.
“Electric Productions have lined up four acts for the Live Loud and Local gig, including Summer Of Betrayal, Andrew Swift, This Town A Forest and Into Delirium who will all perform on the night.
“This event is for young people aged 13 and over and provides a good chance for young people to get out an socialise in a supervised, alcohol and smoke-free environment,” Ms Agius said.
“We really encourage young people to come along to the Bunyip Hall, for a great night out”.
“Electric Productions are committed to providing youth events across the Shire and the committee are very excited about going to Bunyip,” she said.
“Young people can attend the event for $5 with a pass or flyer or $7 without.
Passes are available through Cardinia Shire Council Youth Services or at local retail outlets.
The ‘Live, Loud and Local’ will run from 6.45 until 11pm at the Bunyip Hall, 38 Main Street, Bunyip.
